Advisor / Mentoring and Coaching
Mentoring is the process of informal transmission of experience and knowledge, perceived by the recipient as relevant to work, career, or professional development. Mentoring entails informal communication, usually in a face-to-face setting and for a limited period of time in which I, as an expert, mentor employees to make them more knowledgeable about a specific topic or skill. Mentoring can involve professional QHSE and Risk Management subjects, but also organizational and work-process-related topics.
Coaching is a form of development in which I, as an expert (coach), support employees in achieving specific personal or professional goals by providing training and guidance. Coaching differs from mentoring as the former focuses on specific tasks or objectives, whereas the latter lays the emphasis on general goals or overall development.
